2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon SMAK DAB White Wine Herb Mustard
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Pinch of pepper
1/3- 1/2 cup olive oil
Whisk together vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and slowly drizzle in olive oil.
This classic vinaigrette is the perfect dressing for green salads, quinoa salads, roasted vegetables, or a marinade for delicate meats.
Shallot + White Wine Dressing:
Make classic vinaigrette, but replacing with white wine vinegar and adding 1 minced shallot.
Roasted Garlic Dressing:
Slice the top head off of a small head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil. Roast for 35 minutes at 400F until tender. Squeeze out cooled garlic, add add to classic vinaigrette in a blender. Add 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan.
This dressing is a lower calorie alternative to creamy caesar dressings! The garlic and cheese add a creaminess without adding any extra oil.
Substitute vinegar for lemon juice and add 1 tablespoon lemon zest, and 1 tablespoon chopped dill or thyme.
