1 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup SMAK DAB Beer Chipotle Mustard
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tsp liquid smoke
2-3lb boneless blade or outside round roast
Salt + pepper
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
In a heavy duty skillet, heat oil until very hot. Season roast on all sides with salt and pepper, and sear all over until golden brown. Remove and place in slow cooker. Add onion and garlic to pan and saute until soft and fragrant; pour over roast.
In a bowl, mix together remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cover with lid and cook on low until tender, about 8 hours.
Remove meat and shred into chunky bit sized pieces. Serve on a toasted bun and spoon over sauce.
